Balance and Strength Class

Balance and strength exercises are important for everyone, of all ages and abilities! It is especially important if you have other health problems such as joint pain, weakness, osteoporosis or dizziness.

Balance and strength training is also used for rehabilitation when recovering from surgery or an injury. Regular exercise has been proven to help prevent the risk of falls, will help reduce stiffness and feelings of unsteadiness.

This is a great exercise class to improve an older adult’s health and fitness, designed to build strength, improve flexibility, mobility, balance and boost confidence.

In a fun, friendly and social environment, and with plenty of encouragement, Bobbie-Jo will work you at your own pace providing you with different exercises to suit your ability.

Class times: Mondays 9-10 am and Thursdays 10-11 am

Cost: $15 per session
