Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy:
Bobbie-Jo Strong – Principal Physiotherapist
Our principal physiotherapist, Bobbie-Jo Strong, has numerous years of experience in both sports and general physiotherapy.
Special interests of Bobbie-Jo include:
Bobbie works with many major sports clubs including Rugby League, Rugby Union and Volleyball clubs, where she has developed a broad range of skills and techniques which have assisted greatly in her ability to effectively manage sport and non-sport related injuries. Bobbie-Jo and fellow Pivotal Motion Physiotherapist Lydia will be attending the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Conference in Brisbane at the end of this year.
Bobbie comes from a cycling background, however she is changing things up a little bit this year and has been undertaking a new boot-camp regimen where she has experienced great personal success and is attacking her fitness goals with the same enthusiasm as she brings to her patient care. Bobbie is results driven, and as a great measure of her achievement to date, she is swapping in her wheels for her joggers as she takes part in the J2J run!
Bobbie-Jo is currently an active member in Sports Medicine Australia, along with her commitments to the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She is dedicated to the further education of sports trainers and we are proud to announce that she is also the chairperson of the Sports Trainer Conference Group, and will be assisting SMA Queensland with the 2011 Sports Trainer conference in November. 2010 marked 10 years since Bobbie-Jo became a sports trainer with Sports Medicine Australia.
